Exos 2.5 rear nozzle part number?

Postby Gewehr98 » Sun Nov 09, 2014 4:23 pm

Howdy, all! Since I've had no luck finding a replacement reservoir and pumps for my Exos 2 750, I've purchased an Exos 2.5 1050.

Problem is, the unit comes with 1/2 nozzles attached at the rear. Here's a photo link, can somebody point me in the right direction for Koolance part numbers so I can order and get things going?

Thanks in advance!

According to the Exos 2.5 1050 page (http://koolance.com/ex2-1050bk-exos-2.5 ... stem-black), this rear fitting sockets are G 1/4 BSPP, which are the same fitting sockets used on the current Exos 2.5 1055 units.

So you can go to the current Exos 2.5 page (http://koolance.com/ex2-1055-exos-2.5-l ... m-aluminum) and click on the 'Add Fittings?' selection to get a list of the fittings that are compatible.

Ok, so I guess my question was somewhat misunderstood. If you look at the attached photo, my Exos 2.5 has nozzles attached, but only the male half on both outflow and return sides.

I'm trying to figure out which version those nozzles are, so I can purchase the appropriate female nozzles/couplers for my 10mm ID hoses to the computer itself.

I don't recall the model number for those QDC fittings. However they are definitely the older original series and I cannot seem to find them under either the product listings or the product archive to give you a model number.

The give away that they are the older ones is the plastic piece in the middle. Each time you took those apart it lost some liquid like a teaspoon's worth and putting them back together sometimes resulted in a small air bubble. Thats why the newer ones were all marketed as no-leak QDC fittings.

I would strongly suggest replacing the male side in the EXOS if you are able to with newer fittings. Otherwise contact Koolance directly (email/phone) and they might be able to help you better.

Those are the old QDCs which are not for sale on the koolance website but you may find the fittings somewhere but you need to know what size it is exactly. I had mine replaced when the res and the fittings leaked inside. My suggestion would be contact koolance and see if you can get the no leak QDCs installed, my guess that they will so it but for a fee for labor and the price of the no leaks. In the end though it would be well worth the small hit.
