In Line Flow Meters & Coolant compatibility

Postby rolldog » Tue Nov 03, 2015 5:38 pm

I'm working on a new build, and I bought 2 x SEN-FM18T10 (in-line flow meter and temp sensor), one for each loop. Someone told me these flow meter sensors have trouble working with nano particle coolant, like Mayhem's Pastel coolants. Does anyone know if there's any truth to this? I was hoping to use a different color coolant in each of my waterloop, but if it's going to mess up my flow meters (I also purchased an in-line filter) or give me bogus readings, I'd like to know ahead of time so I can figure something else out.

If anyone has experienced this or knows if there's any truth in this, I would appreciate it if someone would let me know before I buy the coolant and start working on my build. Luckily, I'm still waiting on my case to be finished, so I haven't even started on this build yet. Thanks a lot!

I'd be surprised if pastels gave you any issues, it's the Aurora fluids that would most likely be troublesome.
