TMS-200 Software Interface ETA?

Postby Dragon » Tue Sep 16, 2008 2:58 pm

does anyone know when abouts the Software Interface card will be available? I haven't recieved an e-mail about it yet so I figured someone on here might know..

I know of a few programs that control fans through the motherboard, but I like Koolance stuff so I figure i'll keep it all together >.<

As you may know, we're currently working on a replacement for the TMS-100K. However, the replacement card is still in development and might not be released for another month or two. As stated on the TMS-100K product page (http://www.koolance.com/water-cooling/product_info.php?product_id=351), you can expect the replacement card to be released sometime later this year. We'll let you know if that ETA changes for any reason.

We're adding quite a few new features to the next version of TMS. We hope to have it available in the next 1-2 months.

Can we hear about some of the new features on this board so we all have something to dream about at night? Plus it would help on buying things I might need to finish my system

Any chance this new version will have an open api? I was thinking if I picked one of these up it might be fun to do a once over with adobe air to improve the ui, which is cross-system compatible meaning if the drivers were available could have this running on mac/windows/linux. Also an open api with a bit of work means there would be the potential to report the status of multiple machines to a single machine with the right communications. ie. could install it in a rack of servers and have temperatures etc reported without having to remote in to each machine etc.

The current TMS software is open source, I would expect the next version to be the same.

Has there been any plans on releasing the source code yet or even an accessible API. I probably won't end up buying one of these cards until I can do my own UI,

So is the source code or a public API available?

If not, is it possible to tinker with the settings so I can program a dacreasing curve (less power when the temperature increases) for a fan. (the UI does not allow decreasing curves)
