Its rather odd, and convenient, that I seem to be having the exact same problem as you at the exact same time.. However, to the point, I am having the same problem. I have recently installed Windows Server 2008 R2 on my box *Read Side Note as well*, and during some tweaking had the TMS board begin to beep. Realizing "oh crap, I forgot to install/setup that", I rushed to the software folder and tried to install the software associated. install went fine, but when I tried opening the TMS software after install (and usb plugin) it got about half-way through the COM search, had a pop up taskbar bubble saying it found the COM port, and then gave a "Thermal Management System is not responding" message and promptly closed the program.

*Side Note*: Previously installed on said box was Windows 7 Pro, and I did have beeping problems on occasion during shut downs.
*Side Note2*: Attempted install with .28 Beta originally, had the problem explained, then attempted uninstall/reinstall with .26 vista drivers with the same results

That describe the exact problem, it is frustrating. I have used this controler with all other versions of windows from xp on up including server 2003 and haven't had any problems.

i've also read something about a possible firmware upgrade that requires the card to be sent back to koolance. Can any moderators or Staff comment on that?
