TMS-200 (Software v2.1.28 *Final*) Feedback - Post Here

Postby Admin » Mon Dec 20, 2010 2:58 pm

This thread is for customer feedback on TMS-200 with software version v2.1.28 Final.

v.2.1.28 *Final* doesn't change anything that might affect boot-up alarms versus v2.1.28 *Beta*. However, it adds a new error log file, "Req.log" to the TMS software directory. If you encounter an unwarranted alarm during boot-up, please post or attach your Req.log file to this forum thread so we can examine it for problems.

fingers crossed on this, word of warning, you need to make note of all your settings or move the original install to refer to as it will not update settings.

no better than the beta, still does it at random start ups, needless to say i cannot plug in the hardware switch to force a shutdown nor can i take the blu tak out the speaker. at least the blu tak has worked its way in killing the speaker.

Hi,

I've recently installed the 2.1.28 Final software and I have issues with the COM connection. After a cold boot (when the computer has been turned off for more than ~15 minutes) the software keeps dropping the COM connection. The problem is solved by simply rebooting the computer.

The older version of the software also had this problem but I thought that fixing the COM port to a specific port number would solve the problem. Sadly it doesn't. I've attached a screenshot and the Req.log in a zip file.

Another really minor thing is that I can't select another option than "10sec" under the "Time interval" in the settings window of the new software.

Cheers,
Chris

Been following this issue, hoping for a fix.. but this latest patch has had 0 improvement.

Basically beeping every time I boot now (from the initial occassional beep boot issue a couple of months ago - when this issue first started).

I hope this will help you, but im ready to send the board back. ''grinds teeth in frustration'

Cheers.

*** THE EXTENTSION LOG IS NOT ALLOWED BY THE BOARD ***

req.log put in .zip format for attachment- but its silly you ask us to attach something that your board doesnt allow isn't it.. or is this another software bug ^_^.

its not a problem, its the drive in the fans that is the problem, its not compatible with the pwm system the card uses, you have to set then between 7 and 25% and ignore the rpm until they speed up enough to give true reading.
