You just need to look at the power requirements of the fans vs what the board puts out.
Corsair 800D
2xPMP-450S > Amd FX8370 > Asus CH4-EX > AMD 6990 > AMD 6990 > 2x1080 rads > return
32GB Ram

I meant, what 140mm fans can be fully controled? beacuse these fans i described are working only at 100%, and any value lower , is making high pitching noise and fans stops...

And the second thing, how to connect 4 pin pwm fan to tms, as i heard only pwm fans work properly with tms, and all pwm fans i saw, had 4 pin connector

Hello Jasonos,

The TMS-205 was only tested with Koolance fans. I would think any other 3-pin PWM fan would work, assuming the fan doesn't exceed 2A (the fan header limit on the TMS-205).

Unfortunately koolance fans do not appear to be available in Europe. I can confirm that the noiseblockers (1700 rpmn version) and yate loons (2200 rpm version) are not compatible with tms-205. Both stall once the power supply start to duty-cycle (I.e. anything less than 100%)

Those two are the only fans I have found that fit the 2x140 koolance fan shroud and suited for radiators here, hence I am importing koolance fans from the US at a rather hefty expense.

For the future you should look into compatability features on your controller boards like frequency adjustment, filters or dc-dc voltage regulators rather than straight PWM control.

would you mind letting me know how you get on with the koolance fans, i am running 3x140mm off 1 tms header and they are a pain to setup. noctua fans work but not well.

I just got the fans delivered.... the wrong fans the supplier sent me 120mm fans instead of the 140mm I ordered.
This may take a while

I've just gotten a pair of FAN-14025HLED, unfortunately they do not work well with the TMS-205. They do not start reliably on PWM needing a setting of at least 40% to start (But I am not confident they will do so repeatedly). At 20% they stop. At 70-90% they generate a lot of noise and they do not report RPM any anything other than 100%.

Suffice to say I am rather disappointed that even koolance's own fans do not work with their fan controller.
