TMS-205 EB205 questions

Postby pilotter » Tue Oct 16, 2012 12:13 am

Good day,

interested to buy the TMS-205.

Can I control my mcp35x2 with it? It has PWM!

How many fans of 0,08 Amps can I connect to one header?

thanks

Rick

Does mcp35x2 require a molex connection? then you might need to get a couple of these: http://koolance.com/3-4pin-molex-power-adapter
And I believe each header is 2A max. That's what it says here anyway: http://koolance.com/tms-205-software-thermal-interface-controller

The mcp35x2 is a DDC pump. Assuming the specs are the same as the PMP-400, it would work if connected to the pump area of the TMS-205 or TMS-EB205.

From what I remember (may no longer be accurate), the board (with or w/o the EB) is limited to 6.5A. Each header is limited to 2A. You do the math.
