I'm no overclocking/CPU expert but a 920/930 should OC similar to a 950/960/975. It may not OC as high and it might need more Vcore. Also the i7 960 replaced the i7 950.

no every chip in every situation is a YMMV.

YMMV = your milage will vary.

Sometimes u'll get lucky with that really cold running super overclocking cherry.
Sometimes you be cursed with the leakest cpu u have ever seen.

YMMV.

The chances are tho, with a higher multi, you have less strain on the BCLK and therefore less strain on the board and less strain on the memory hence it will yield greater oc.

This is why higher multi cpu's are looked at, and not everyone runs a 920.
But once again, its YMMV!!!!
