GTX 285 V1 vs V2..How to tell?

Hey all, I'm planning on setting up a water cooling system with my current rig, but after searching through some products, I've discovered that there are apparently two different versions of the GTX 285, and it seems that not all GPU blocks are compatible with one or the other. So my question is, how does one tell the version of the card? One of my cards is a BFG (http://bit.ly/c4KrVQ) and the other is an ASUS card (http://amzn.to/dB6ZSW). I purchased the BFG card in July of last year, and I just won the ASUS card in a contest, so I'm not sure when it was actually manufactured.

Thanks for the input.

The BFG card is a Rev. 2 card signified by the B in OCBE. The Original card was simply labeled OCE. As for as the ASUS card goes only thing I can say is the nVidia reference board number is usually printed on the back of the circuit board, in a code located below the nVidia logo. In the code it should either have an 891 for Version 1 or an 892 for Rev 2. If you are not for sure after examining your card call ASUS or post the question on the ASUS forum.
