New Koolance CPU-370SA and CPU-370SI Water Blocks

Postby Admin » Wed Feb 29, 2012 3:05 pm

We've now released new lighter weight, lower cost versions of our CPU-370 water block: CPU-370SA (for AMD sockets), and CPU-370SI (for Intel sockets). They use the familiar nickel-plated copper microfin cold plate (0.25mm fins), a SUS jet plate, but now use a solid acetal top/bracket. (The version for Intel sockets comes with two back plates and some extra posts, so it's a little more than the AMD socket version.)

Really need to offer a black hardware package as an option to go with the new design.

How tight are the mounting screws meant to be in the backplate? Mine wouldn't budge and then when I used pliers to tighten (as suggested by the instructions) part of one of the mounting screws broke off in the back plate. The threads cant have been the right size. I've contacted support, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

Also, I don't have to pay any shipping or anything on an rma do I? After going broke watercooling I got a $430 speeding fine and I really have nothing to spare :(
