CPU-370SI, not sure good installation

Postby IceCream4 » Sat Dec 01, 2012 9:37 pm

Hi,

I just finished my first install water-cooling, CPU-370SI...

But I'm not sure you put the nuts, Should I tighten the screws until the termination of the screw thread or should I stop before?

Does it make a difference to the temperature?

Thx!

They should be snug enough that the block doesn't easily move around but you don't want it so tight as to crush the CPU/MB. Also tighten like you would a car's wheel to ensure pressure is balanced across the block.
