Will 2x 6970s very close to each other cause problems?

Postby Clearly » Fri Nov 04, 2011 12:19 am

Hi. I'm a newb at water cooling so bare with me :). I am looking to water cool both of my 6970 cards but as they sit together with the heat sink and fan on they are almost touching each other in my case. My two PCIe slots are spaced with a slot between them, but as the card takes up two slots the bottom of one of the cards is touching the top of the other. Here's a pic: http://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/j372/clearly123/P1050239.jpg.

Will this prevent me from directly connecting the two water blocks such that they are in series with the loop? Or, will i be able to connect them without using a tube to go from the top card to the bottom?

It won't prevent you from doing this, you'll need http://www.koolance.com/water-cooling/p ... uct_id=872 . There is more information on connecting our video blocks at http://www.koolance.com/product_wizard/ ... g_help.php .
