Oh my God. That CHIV Extreme is the first AMD board to actually excite me since the CHII. The ability to use Nvidia GPU's again in SLI is great and the ability to turn off certain GPU's without removing them is awesome too. If this comes out, I am buying it!

Bambi hunter took the words right out of my mouth. I hadn't realized the features the extreme board had in this generation. I started looking for a release date even though I'm still at work. I'd replace my current board in a heartbeat, regardless of a full coverage water block being release with it.

I think if the people that voted for the CH IV Formula saw the write-up on the Extreme many would change their vote, at least those who haven't already bought the Formula.

The C4E looks amazing and the fact that it supports 3-Way Sli x16 and CFX 2x16, 2x8 is pretty amazing. And the new Xpander looks promising for those who are looking to get 4-Way Sli on there Rampage 3 Extreme's. I wonder if the current Koolance R3E blocks will have enough clearance for the Xpander though?

Saw this on the ROG facebook page.

"ASUS REPUBLIC OF GAMERS Do you know which board will be ROGs 28th?
Tuesday at 9:12pm"

Hopefully this is a release date for the CH4-Ex

I vote for Crosshair IV Formula...the board's northbridge and southbridge really run hot. I have been a believer in the quality of koolance products for some time now and would not find pleasure in switching to another brand. Your competition is producing one for this board koolance...your opening the door to your competition! :?
