I recently installed the two water blocks for R4E,
reason why I bought it in the first place, is the VRM throttling me when I am on full load at 1.5Vs whenever clocking into the 4.8-5.1Ghz area.
I installed the block, and went straight to prime95 to test...
same throttling happened.
luckily is that if I point a fan at it, I can solve it.. however, that defeats my purpose of having the block in the first place...
I wonder did I overlook anything in the installation?
I made no stupid mistakes like forgetting to remove the plastic on the thermal pads etc..
just not sure why I ain't getting the VRMs cool...
any input will be welcomed.
here's a pic of my block after installation.
