Long shot: Any chance the MB-ASSTX79 fits X99 Deluxe?

Hi Guys,

I am considering going from an ASUS Sabertooth X79 to their X99 Deluxe.

I have the MB-ASSTX79 on my Sabertooth and would be curious to know if there is even a long shot that it would work on the X99.

The obvious answer is probably 'of course not', but looking at the layout of the two boards there is little for my untrained eye to tell them apart:
