Two PMP-450S in one dual top (serial connection). Safe?

Postby booya » Fri Dec 02, 2011 8:43 pm

Hello.

I want to connect two PMP-450S @ 24V together in EK-D5 Dual TOP G1/4.

Is that safe for 13/16 mm tubes and water blocks?

Also, is there dual tops for that pomps (D5/Strong) from Koolance (want to order all in one store)?

They do with a res built in.

RP-452x2

And it is safe assuming your concern is the amount of pressure/flow from 2 D5 pumps combined.

Radiator will be on the wall, and reservoir near radiator :( So I need just a dual top.

Two D5 Strong at 24 V :)

Thx!

You can look up the performance charts between D5's on 12V vs 24V. They don't put out 2x pressure/flow just because you doubled the voltage. Your still safe running 2xD5 @ 24v or 12V.
