401x2, 402x2, 452x2 inlet / outlet

Is it possible with these res units to utilize both res chambers as a single reservoir? I question if having both reservoir chambers connected either thru a small opening between them like the 452 or underneath like the 401, if the P1 chamber will actually pull water over from P2 to P1. Is it recommended to have the P1 outlet be used for output to the system and the P2 inlet be the return port? So water would come in thru the P2 chamber, find its way thru pressure back into the P1 chamber and then out to the system?

Hello jriker1,

All three mentioned reservoirs are able to function as a single reservoir (combined halves).

Even if combining the two reservoir halves, I would recommend using your IN on the same side of the reservoir as your OUT, though it would likely work either way (assuming you're not using dual pumps, and trying to run in series).
