Koolance EXOS LT cooling system for Xbox360

Postby jmcinvale » Thu Jan 19, 2012 8:03 pm

I have one and need to replace the reservoir. If I cannot get a replacement could I use an external pump + reservoir and just connect the pump to the original pump connector in the unit?

Hi I have a EXOS of the same vintage as yours and i was told by Koolance support that it uses 12VAC so you may not want to do that .
Just take a meter and see if the pump is supplied with AC or DC once you have it apart .

Well i have done a lot of strange things with pumps and the like , just hook up a meter to the pump and see if it uses voltage drop to vary speed
1st .If it dosent then you will have a 1 speed pump no mater what off brand pump you use .
Is yours this one ? http://www.koolance.com/product_archive ... ct_id=1020

Not sure what pump it uses. I will have to find the original manual. I do know the pump is not variable speed.
