Rp1250 to control an other pump ?

Postby Zordrack » Sat Oct 25, 2014 7:57 am

Hi everybody,

I already own a rp1250 then I decided to buy a pmp500 because I wanted a more powerfull pump. I was wondering if I could disconnect the pmp 400 and use the rp1250 to control my new pmp500.

It look exactly like the crt cd1224 controler. The problem is I dont have the pump wiring harness. I thought I could cut the pmp 400 connector and use it to plug the pmp 500. I'm not sure if this is a good idea maybe I should just buy the crt controller.

What do you think ?

The PMP-500 has different power ratings than the 400, you would most likely burnt out the RP-1250 control board.

Ok thx I got the crt cd1224 controler. This pump is alot noisier than I thought even at level 1. The pmp 400 was alsmot silent compare to this.

The PMP-400 and PMP-450 are pretty much the quietest pumps in the Koolance lineup. I have two PMP-450S pumps in series but I double isolated them with rubber mounts don't bother to throttle them because I cannot even hear them.
