Blue wire? PMP450

Postby ReaperXero » Sun May 03, 2015 7:24 pm

I'm curious about this wire. I'm hoping it's a flow sensor of some sort. I had an issue recently where I had a pump go down and didn't know. I don't want to install a midline sensor due to adding extra leak points. All I need to know is the pump moving. I was looking at the Flow Meter Adapter With Display, but I'm sure but hope to be wrong it's only for inline. Any ideas?

also running bayless setup. That's why I was looking at the Flow Meter adapter with Display, because I can easily attached it the back of the case.

It looks like it is a tachometer sensor. You should be able to use that to tell if the pump is spinning, but not whether liquid is actually flowing.
