help with choosing appropriate koolance radiators and fans.

Postby ganganputput » Mon May 05, 2014 6:20 am

Dear koolance staff and other forum members, I am building a watercooling pc and want to get watercooling radiators and fans from koolance.
I am running a I7 3770k clocked at 4.8ghz and a evga classified 780ti clocked at 1300 under water. My pump is d5, my cpu block is koolance 380 and vga block is ek classy. I approximate the wattage to be cooled is about 650 watts but I want to have 200 watts spare capacity in my loop. I also want to run slow speed fans to be whisper quiet around 1200 to 1600 rpm. Can you recommend the best koolance rad combination for providing this cooling level of 800w and the whisper quietness i am looking for? Dont worry about case size because i ill buy an appropriate case size based on the rad recommendation.

a 3.120 rad should be your minimum consideration especially if you want lower noise levels. The more overboard you go the quieter you can run the fans to get the same performance as less radiator area with high speed fans.
