I just bought some used Koolance WC blocks for my Evga 680 cards and I know
I am going to need some long screws and have no clue what to buy.
GTX 680's SLI 04g-p4-2686 are my GPU cards and they came with a
back plate. What do I need to buy in order to install the water blocks ?
I have the thermal paste and the thermal pads.
Thanks so much for your help !!!
Mike

Re: help with screws for Rad and VID-NX680
It would be helpful to know exactly what radiator / fan / gpu blocks your talking about.
The purpose built 680 block would come with all needed hardware.
The most common sizes for rad threading seem to be either M3 or M4 threading.

Koolance VID-NX680 101251 are the WC Blocks and the
GPU's are 04g-p4-2686 evga GTX 680
the GPU's have a backplate, and so I wanted to know
of the 16 screws that came with the gpu, how many
do I need longer to be able to use the
koolance 101251 WC blocks with my 04g-p4-2686
that are long enough to accommodate the 3mm extra thickness
of the backplate. M2.5 I believe is the stock screws.
I already was able to use 8/32 screws for the rad and fans, so that problem is solved.
Thanks for your help.

Re: help with screws for VID-NX680 101251 with backplate
I finally got an answer from Koolance and have ordered the 2.6mm correct length screws ( still dont know what it is, but that does not matter anymore )
so I will be able to attach my WC Blocks to my GTX 680's now.
Now the only issue I have is the back plate, and if I will need new longer screws, or if the ones that come on my 680 will fit.
Thanks for any help.
