EXC-800 cooling ability

Postby maximiza » Thu Sep 21, 2017 4:26 pm

I am running into thermal limits on my water loop. I am checking to see if an EXC-800 can cool 2 1080ti and a 4960x staying at ambient temps.

1080ti ~= 290W
4960 ~= 130W
290x2 + 130 = 710

EXC-800 is rated for around 800W so not taking into account overclocks or the fact that not all that power is wasted as heat you should be within the capacity of the unit.
